Alexander RAFF (3229) was a 19 year old single farmer who enlisted on 29 February 1916. He listed as his next of kin, his Mother, Mrs Alice Mary Raff, Hill Street, Toowoomba, Queensland. He embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A64 Demosthenes on 23 December 1916 as a member of the 49th Battalion, 8th Reinforcement. During his service he received the Military Medal and returned to Australia in March 1919
Francis Hewson RAFF (3719) as a 19 year old single farmer who enlisted on 23 June 1917. He listed as his next of kin, his Mother, Mrs Alice Mary Raff, 'Malvern', Kingsthorpe, Queensland. He embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A7 Medic on 1 August 1917 as a member of the 49th Battalion, 10th Reinforcement. He returned to Australia 19 February 1919.
Frederick William RASHLEIGH (4825) was a 22 year old single cabinetmaker who enlisted on 3 July 1915. He listed as his next of kin, his Father, W H Rashleigh, Dalby, Queensland. He embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board RMS Mooltan on 12 April 1916 as a member of the 26th Battalion, 12th Reinforcement. During his service he was promoted to Corporal and transferred to the 49th Battalion. He returned to Australia in 1919.
