Son of David and Catherine THOMAS, Sandy Creek, Barellan, New South Wales

News has been received that David J. Thomas, son of D. Thomas, of Sandy Creek, New South Wales, and nephew of P. M. Thomas, of Tydfil, Douglas-street, Randwick, has bean killed in action in France. David J. Thomas was an old Fort-street School boy, and prior to his enlistment, nearly  three years ago, was employed in the Cornmonwealth Customs Department. He, was 23 years of age.
