He was 20 and a son of James Norbert Dunleavy and Margaret Teresa Dunleavy, of 9, Palace St., Ashfield, Sydney, New South Wales. His brothers, Private Norbert Dunleavy [aged 22] and Private James Bourke Dunleavy [aged 23] also fell.
