Peter Todd READ was born in Adelaide in South Australia on 13th January, 1920

His parents were Alan Llewellyn READ & Doris Muriel TEAGUE

He married Hilary WELLS in St. Judes Church in Brighton, SA on 30th October, 1942

He previously served in the 27th Infantry Battalion and the 9/23 Light Horse Regiment before being discharged to join the RAAF

His father Alan Llewellyn READ served during WW1 (SN 3702) in the Infantry Brigade & the Field Ambulance & returned to Australia on 28th October, 1918
