'ROLL OF HONOUR.
PHILLIPS.— In sad but proud and loving memory of our dear beloved Son and Brother, Private George Frederick Phillips, 42nd Battalion, died of wounds in France, 8th March, 1917. Aged 20 years.
Just as his life was brightest
Just as his hopes were best.
His country called-he answered;
With God in heaven he rests.
He sleeps not in his native land
But in a hero's grave he lies.
