PRIVATE V. MUDGE.
Private V. Mudge, of the 9th Light Horse, who has lost an eye, will arrive in Melbourne on November 20, per the transport Kanowna. He is expected to reach Broken Hill a few days later. Writing from a hospital Private Mudge states:- "It is a bonnie home; plenty to eat and drink, and a good bed. I am terribly fat - 13st. 12lb."
