Henry Drew was born on the ninth of March 1897, in England. He then moved to South Australia where he lived in Glanville where his job was being a driver.
When Henry left for the war he had to leave his beloved wife who lived with him in Glanville. Henry was part of the 10th Battalion and Henry was a Private soldier.
He returned alive from the war with memories of his friends dying, Henry then lived the rest of his life.
