Husband of Mary TUCKER, 71 Webster Street, Ballarat, Vic.

TUCKER.—On March 14, at private hospital, Ballarat, Samuel Edmund Tucker (Colonel 39th Battalion, A.I.F.), of Woodlands, Brown Hill, beloved husband of Mary, loved father of Myrtle (Mrs. R. Baillie), Edmund, Clarice (deceased), Ella (Mrs. H. McGregor), Jessie (Mrs. J. Hocking), and Dudley (deceased), and devoted grandpa of Barbara, aged 63 years.


TUCKER.—On March 14, at Ballarat, Colonel S. E. Tucker, beloved brother of Mary (Mrs. J. Dudley), Isabel, Will, Ethel, Bert and Les.


TUCKER.—On March 14, at Ballarat, Col. S. E. Tucker, V.D., dearly loved brother of Mary, and brother-in-law of John Dudley, loving uncle of Alan (2nd A.I.F. abroad), Marion (deceased), John (U.S.A.), and Jim.

COL. S. E. TUCKER
The death occurred in a private hospital in Ballarat on Saturday of Col. Samuel E. Tucker, 63, of Woodlands, Brown Hill. He was a member of Yarrowee Masonic Lodge, and was a former president of No. 4 branch in Ballarat of the Australian Natives' Association. He is survived by a wife, 3 daughters, and a son.
The funeral took place yesterday at Ballarat New Cemetery.

LATE COL. S. E. TUCKER
Members of military Masonic and ANA organisations were present yesterday at the funeral of Col S E Tucker 03 of Woodlands Brown Hill who died on Saturday. He was second in command of the 19th  Battalion AIF in the last war and was a leading figure in Ballarat military affairs.
