"...6116 Private Harold Douglas Martin Landers, 22nd Battalion of Smithfield, NSW. A fitter prior to enlisting, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Argyllshire (A8) on 31 October 1916. Initially, he was reported missing but later was declared to have died in action on 3 May 1917 during the second battle at Bullecourt, France, aged 20. He has no known grave and is remembered with honour on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
