Biography

 

George was enlisted into the 42nd Battalion, 4th Reinforcement which was changed from the 41st Battalion.

He embarked from Brisbane, Queensland, on board HMAT A36 Boonah on 21 Oct 1916

Returned to Australia 12 June 1919

Death Certificate George Henry Brigham - states the cause of death was Coronary Occlusion & Parkinson's Disease.
He was cremated & is buried at Albany Creek Memorial Gardens, Queensland, Australia.
His role during his time away at war was a Signaler.
He also was awarded the Victory Medal WW1 & 1914-1915 Star
