Trained as an accountant for four years with P.J. Fitzpatrick of Fremantle, WA

Husband of Annie Elizabeth Foxworthy nee Baldock C/-  of Austral Parade, Bunbury, WA later of Canning Road, East Fremantle. John and Annie married during 1911 in Wellington, WA

Between 7 April 1919 and 17 August 1919 he was employed at the School of Economics and Council of Legal Education in London, England

Commenced return to Australia on 6 September 1919 aboard HT Berrima
