Hilda embarked Indirra in Melbourne on 26 November 1917,
disembarking in Bombay, India on 18 December. She remained in
quarantine until 9 January 1918. Hilda was posted for duty to King
George’s War Hospital, Poona upon cessation of the quarantine
period. She resigned on 27 December 1918 in order to marry and
was demobilized on 12 January 1919.
