Husband of Edith Margaret Vizer nee Griffiths of Boulton Road, Wandsworth, Birmingham, England. Edward and Edith married on 23 December 1915 in the Registry Office, West Bromich, Birmingham, England. Registrar E. Perkins officiated.

Commenced return to Australia on 26 December 1918 aboard HT Somali disembarking on 10 February 1919 at Sydney
