Foreman, M.A Superintendent of the Central Methodlst Mission, as the special preacher, for the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations to be held on Sunday and Monday next, March 30 and 31. He is one of the outstanding men of New South Wales Methodism. In all, he has been associated with Methodist headquarters for 11 years, 6 years as colleague of the Rev. W. G.Taylor, founder of the mission, one year with the Rev. S. J. Hobaa, now of Wesley Church, Melbourne, and 3 years as superintendent. His other appointments were Uralla, William Street, City., and Manly. He also served as a chaplain in the Boer War and again in the late war, attaining the rank of Major In the Commonwealth Military Forces he is gazetted as a permanent Chaplain. His power as a preacher is well known even outside his own connection, his sermons published weekly in 'The Greeting, 'the official organ of the C.M.M. being read with interest throughout the length and breadth of New South Wales.
