Born in 1888 at Cobar NSW to Thomas Dunstan Knuckey and Eleanor Smurthwaite Gladders, He married Fanny Isabell Hinton in 1920. He enlisted 14th March 1916 Number 24486 as driver 4rd div ammunition column and returned to 27th September 1917. He was living at 46 Edgar Street, East Malvern. Occupation was Grover and Post Master. He died on 18th Jan 1966 at Lockleys SA.
