KILLED INSTANTLY
Man Falls in Front of Tram
LOST GRIP OF HANDRAIL
SYDNEY, Monday.
Roy Derrick James, 30, married, a returned soldier, of Bondi, was killed instantly when he fell from a tram and was struck by another trami travelling in the opposite direction, in  Oxford-istreet, Woollahra, this evening.
James was returning home from work, and was standing in the rear compartment, when it is thought he lost his grip on the handrail and, overbalancing, fell in front of the on-coming train.
James was terribly injured. His left leg was practically severed.

JAMES.—The Relatives and Friends of the late ROY DERRICK JAMES, of Campbell-parade, Bondi, and late of Manly and Coogee, are kindly invited to attend his Funeral; to leave the Kinsela Chapels, Oxford-street, Taylor-square, Darlinghurst, THIS WEDNESDAY, after service which will commence at 1.45 p.m., for the Crematorium, Rookwood, by road.
