Clement Ramsay ADAM was born on 17th October, 1897 in Kent Town, Norwood, South Australia to Frederick John ADAM and Elizabeth GILES

He had previous service with the cadets for 4 years & 2 yrs with the Citizen forces - He joined the Australian Army Medical Corp on 28th December, 1917 and embarked with the General Reinforcement of the AAMC on the ship S.S. Gaika on 6th August, 1918 - disembarked in London on 13th October, 1918

Clement embarked on 2nd December, 1919 on the ship Shropshire to return to Australia and arrived on 18th January, 1920 - he was discharged on 11th February, 1920 - he was awarded the British War Medal

On 4th February 1926 he married Cora Isabel COOPER at St Benedicts Church, Minlaton, South Australia - they divorced in 1951

He died on 30th November, 1965 aged 69 years , late of Norwood, SA and is buried in West Terrace AIF Cemetery
