HEROES OF THE GREAT WAR
VENABLES.— A token of love to the memory of our dear nephew, Richard (Dick), killed in France, June 29, 1918. Blessed are the pure in heart For they shall see God. Ever remembered. —Inserted by his aunt, Beat,
VENABLES.— In loving memory of our dear son and brother, Richard (Dick), killed in action in France, June 29, 1918. All that it meant to lose him, Only our sad hearts know. Time may heal the broken hearted, Time may make the wound less sore, But time can never soothe the longing For our loved one gone before. —Inserted by his loving parents, brothers, and sisters.
VENABLES.— In loving memory of dear Dick, killed June 29th, 1918. These shall resist the Empire to decay, When time is o'er and worlds have passed away Cold in the grave the cherished heart may lie, But that which warmed it once can never die. — Inserted by his loving uncle and aunt, J. and C. M. Reed and cousins.
