Biography

Albert was born in 1888 in Putney, England. He married Margaret Cobb in 1909. they Emigrated to Adelaide, South Australia in 1911 aboard the Otway. They resided in Adelaide and had 4 children a Daughter and a son (2 others deceased when infants).

Albert joined the 27th Battilion and left to fight on 31/5/1915, he was wounded (GSW & gas) and so he returned to Australia and was discharged on 10 Apr 1916.

Albert went on to have another six children (all daughters). Albert died in 1935 from a head injury due to a fall, and it has been said by family members he suffered a seizure (resulting from his war injuries).
