Son of John Windlass Quinn and Mary Ann Quinn nee Connell of Koongal, Rockhampton, QLD

Commenced return to Australia on 2 December 1917 aboard HT Persic disembarking on 12 February 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane.
