Son of John Henry Owen and Florence Edith M. Owen of 'Araluen', Wymea Street, Burwood, NSW.

Commenced return to Australia on 11 January 1918 aboard HT Port Darwin disembarking on disembarking on 4 March 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.

During 1936 Henry applied to join the RSL at Gunnedah, NSW
