Embarked from Alexandria on board HT 'Ivernia' to join the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, Gallipoli, 4 September 1915. Admitted to 7th Field Ambulance, 14 November 1915 (bronchitis); discharged to duty, 23 November 1915. Admitted to 13th Casualty Clearing Station, 24 November 1915 (jaundice); transferred to HS 'Karapara', 30 November 1915; admitted to Valetta Hospital, Malta, 30 November 1915; transferred to Cottonera Hospital, 9 December 1915 (enteric); embarked on HS 'Essequibo' for Egypt, 7 January 1916; admitted to No. 1 Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis (para-typhoid); discharged to Australia, 28 January 1916.
