Frank's parents were John James Cash and Bridget Annie Keong well-known local identities of Albany Creek. He enlisted on 17 January 1916 at Brisbane, one day before his brother Bartley. Frank was killed in action. Frank's brothers, Frederick [6583], Percy [5059] and Bartley [no service number] also enlisted. Percy was killed as well.
