He was born Eowyn Labilliere Hugh DAVIES on 6th November, 1891 in Brighton, Victoria

His parents were John Hugh DAVIES & Elizabeth Jane KER who married in Victoria in 1881

He married Estelle Annie Maude WILLIAMS in Victoria in 1913 - two known daughters, Narcisse & Katharine Elizabeth

Eowyn died from strychnine poisoning (self administered) whilst suffering depression at his home on the corner of Albert St & Inkerman Rd in Caulfield
