Francis was the son of Herbert William James BURDON and Florence Emily nee Cooper. He was a brother to Private Lenard Herbert James BURDON

BURDON.-On the 20th November, at Gallipoli, of enteric fever, Pte. F. R. Burdon, beloved youngest son of Mrs F. E. Burdon, Kingscote. Aged 22 years. THANKS. Mrs. F. E.
