Son of George Fox and Mary Elizabeth Fox of Jones Creek, Gundagai. Brother of Allan Joseph Aloysius Fox who return to Australia on 24 July 1919 having served with the 14th Light Horse Regiment
Commenced return to Australia on 12 June 1919 aboard Port Darwin disembarking on the 28 July 1919
