The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 165+6, and 262. Prior to the war he was a clerk of Dunoon NSW. He enlisted 20 Aug 1915 aged 19 years. He survived the war, being promoted to the rank of Corporal. He departed the UK for home 12 April 1919.
