MR. J. MCCRACKAN
FORMER LAUNCESTON RESIDENT.
Mr. John McCrackan, a former resident of Launceston, died in hospital at Ryde, New South Wales, last week. He was in his 70th year. He was the youngest son of the late Mr. Alexander McCrackan, and a brother of the late Mr.
Peter McCrackan. The late Mr. McCrackan was employed in the Hydro-Electric Department for some time. He went to Sydney about three years ago. He was one of the first secretaries of the Tamar Rowing Club, and was an Australian dog fancier. He served in the Great War.
