Son of Charles E and Zillah DEAN, 'Livingstone', Livingstone Road, Petersham, NSW
Edward saw service in France, contracted appendicitis in October 1917 and was invalided to the 1st Australian Auxillary Hospital and the Harefield Hosptial in England. He returned to duty on 14th October 1917.
