Son of John Evan PRICE and Martha nee PHILLIPS, Pomborneit, Victoria

Roland had 2 brothers who also served in WW1, Frank Heath Price born 9 September 1893 and Columbus Leigh Price OBE, born 16 August 1886.  Columbus Leigh Price was a Captain 4th Light Horse, after previously serving in the Militia.

PRICE.—On the 13th October, 1923, at 4 Shannon Avenue, Newtown, Geelong, R. V. (Val) late 4th Light Horse, A.l.F., seventh son of Martha and the late J. E. Price. Private interment.

Roland Valentine Price, late of Murtoa, storekeeper, who died at Shannon avenue, Newtown, Geelong, on 13th October, bequeathed by will dated 29th September, 1923, personal  property valued at £5753, to his brothers and relatives, with bequests to friends and employees of Price Bros., Murton, and subject to a gift of £50 to the Church of England, Murtoa.
