Arrived in Australia at the age of 29 years having previously served in the Royal Marines Light Infantry, England. Son of Amos Verrall and Ellen Verral of Redhill, Surrey, England.

Husband of Edith Harriet Verrall of Austin Avenue, Maddington, WA. 

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal
