THE LATE PRIVATE P. E. SMITH.
Mrs. George Smith, of Eudunda, has received advice that her third son, Private Percy E. Smith, died of wounds on July 21. He was a member of the 32nd Battalion, and when last heard of was in Egypt. He was a resident of Eudunda, where he was born. He was popular among his comrades." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 19 Aug 1916 (nla.gov.au)
