Husband of Florence Strenge nee Matheson of 3 Elgin Place, Carlton, Victoria. Father of Herbert Henry Strenge and Dorothy May Strenge. In 1921 Herbert and Dorothy were in the custody of the step-father Garnet Rowe of Maryborough following the death of Florence in January 1920
