Important notice to relatives
The RSL can put you in contact with a man who recently discovered a very moving and personal letter from Ernest to his mother underneath an old table within a new premises he recently purchased.
In fact it was quite a close call as the table had been placed in a skip bin when he noticed the letter.
"I would love to see this reunited with the person's ancestors as it is a very touching personal letter from a young man to his mother. As you can see it is in relatively good condition considering its age & I will mail it to your PO box at Fyshwick addressed to yourself."
