Reginald was born on 18.9.1894 in Manly N.S.W to Charles and Blanche (Wiseheart).
Enlisted in Camooweal on 16.12.1914 and while still in training he was promoted to Corporal on 12.3.1915. He embarked from Sydney aboard Mashobra on 4.10.1915 bound for Egypt. He operated with 11th LHR in the Suez Canal, Sinia Desert and Palestine.
5.2.1916 he was attached to the Camel Transport Corps as acting company Sergeant Major in Kantara, Suez Canal. After many months of hospitalisation due to fevers, he was sent to England.

The family bought the Palm Island Resort in 1948 where Reginald resided as Manager until his passing on 29.7.1965.
Buried in the Proserpine Old Cemetery. NP2 grave 67.
