Next of kin given as his sister Rose O'Dwyer of Gunning, NSW.
Commenced return to Australia on 10 March 1918 aboard HT Durham Castle transhipped to HT Orontes at Capetown on 19 April 1918 for onward travel to Australia disembarking on 13 May 1918.
