"...1602 Lance Corporal Allan Bennett, 32nd Battalion. A grocer from Claremont, WA, prior to enlistment on 22 July 1915, he embarked from Adelaide aboard HMAT Geelong (A2) four months later. L Cpl Bennett was killed in action in Fromelles, on 20 July 1916, while helping a fellow soldier who was also wounded. He was 31 years of age." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
