"...1624 Trooper Staunton Hope Johnston, 2nd Australian Remount Unit, of Windsor, NSW. A farmer prior to enlistment, Tpr Johnston embarked on board HMAT Orsova (A67) on 10 November 1915. He was promoted to corporal and served with AIF Canteens in Palestine. Corporal Johnston died as a result of a car accident near Jerusalem on 11 May 1918.
