Son of George Olson and Mary Jane Olson of Narooma, NSW.
Commenced return to Australia on 20 March 1919 aboard HT Ulimaroa disembarking on 19 April 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.

During 1920c Leslie married Ruby O. Jones in Sydney, NSW
