Son of  Frederick S R Hunt, Cashier, Public Works Department, Sydney, New South Wales

Served in France and Belgium and was wounded at Menin Road on 12 August 1917. Invalided to Brighton Hospital he was returned to Australia and discharged as medically unfit 13 March 1918.
