Albert Cecil SERVICE was born in Gawler, South Australia on 9th December, 1893

His Mother was Isabella SERVICE & Fathers name unknown

He enlisted on 28th January, 1916 and embarked on 31st March, 1916 with the 2nd Light Horse Regiment, 16th Reinforcements on the Star of Victoria

He returned to Australia on 1st July, 1919 and was discharged on 2nd November, 1919

Albert married Amy Ethel QUINN on 26th December, 1921 in Queensland

He died on 31st March, 1965 in Queensland, burial place unknown
