Allocated to the 7th Reinforcements 27th Battalion

Thomas Banner's career in the Army was relatively short.  He was diagnosed medically unfit three months after embarkation shortly after arrival in the UK. It would appear to have been a pre-existing condition.

He returned to Australia and was discharged Medically Unfit. 

He became a member of the RSL Badge BNo 63713 joining on 17 April 1919.  He remained a member until the 1st Janaury 1962

His last shown address was 45 Osmond St Glenelg.

He died on 22 October 1964 and was interred in the AIF Cemetery West Terrace.

Wifes name Florence, Children Norman and Eric (who pre-deceased his father)
