Archibald ARBUCKLE was born in Lithgow, NSW in 1898
His parents were Andrew ARBUCKLE & Annie DERRICK who married in Lithgow in 1897
He enlisted in West Maitland on 5th February, 1916 and embarked from Sydney on the HMAT Hororata on 2nd May, 1916 with the 34th Infantry Battalion, C Company
He died of wounds in France on 27th February, 1917 and is buried in the Boulogne Eastern Cemetery
