Son of William Henry Unicomb and Emma Ann Unicomb of Upper Lansdowne, Manning River, NSW.
29 September 1916 - enlisted with the 49th Battalion at Grafton, NSW and with the rank of Private.
24 November 1917 - transferred to the 41st Battalion in France.
27 August 1918 - wounded. Wound to the head. Invalided to England on 31 August 1918
Commenced return to Australia on 16 January 1919 aboard HT Demothenes disembarking on 2 March 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to QLD
Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal
8 April 1919 - discharged at the 1st Military District
During 1922c Abraham married Martha J. Ford in Casino, NSW.
