Enlisted: 16 March 1916, Kenneth enlisted in the Australian Imperial Forces (AIF) during the First World War and was sent overseas on 9 March 1916 with the 17th Battalion to Gallipoli. At Gallipoli, Kenneth is credited with taking out a Turkish machine gun post. He was then sent to France, where he was killed in action on 31 August 1918.
