IN MEMORIAM

THOMAS.—In loving memory of our dear brother, William Henry Thomas, who was killed In action on 11th April, 1917.

He has gone, oh, our dear brother,

To the blessed spirit land;

He has gone, but not another

In his vacant place can stand.

No one he loved was by his side,

To hear his last faint sigh,

To whisper just a loving word,

Or even say good-bye.

His King and country called him,

The call was not In vain;

On Britain's roll of honor

You will find our loved one's name.

The Last Post now has sounded,

He has laid aside his sword,

And God has called him from us

To his nobly won reward.

Inserted by his sorrowing brothers, Charles Walter and George John Thomas, on active service abroad.
