26 Sep 1917:	Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 4097, Sustained GSW to the upper thigh, remained in France and transferred to England within the week, where he remained in hospital for another year before being discharged.
21 Jul 1918:	Discharged AIF WW1, Private, 4097, Given a "mental discharge' as unfit for service ('Dementia'). Later diagnosed with 'shell shock'.
