Son of Emile Victorin Varcin and Maria Varcin nee Clappier of Wallumbilla, QLD. Emile was Naturalised in February 1913.
Felix arrived at Brisbane, QLD on 31 December 1909 aboard Omra.
Brother of Firmin Marcel Varcin who died of wounds 12 August 1918 while serving with the 15th Battalion and is buried in the Pernois British Cemetery, Plot 1V, Row B, Grave 3 and Joseph Lucin Varcin MM who return to Australia on 5 February 1919 having served with the 9th Battalion.
Commenced return to Australia on 10 June 1919 aboard HT Port Lyttleton disembarking on 5 August 1919 at Melbourne for onward to Brisbane.
