Leslie was born in Halifax, Queensland on 17th September, 1891
His parents were Johan (John) Myebright ALM & Aotonia Emilie Elise PROTORIUS
He was Killed in Action in France on 31st August, 1918 and is buried in the Peronne Communal Cemetery Extension
