Prime Minister of Australia - 11th Prime Minister of Australia, holding office for 19 days after the death of Joseph Lyons in 1939.

Sir Earle Page, commonly known to his friends as " The Doc ", was the founder of the Australian Country Party in 1919, and for many years he was the leader of that party. " The Doc " devoted his career as a Minister and a member of Parliament to the great benefit of the country, resulting from the various pieces of legislation that he was instrumental in putting on the statute-book, but he also devoted a great deal of time to his practice of medicine.' In the Grafton district, his own part of New South Wales, he was looked upon as the doctor of doctors. He did a tremendous amount of good helping those who were sick and in distress. Throughout his career he was full of vigour and energy, and he carried on with his work almost until the day he died.
